Permanent Plaque and – New Tree
This program offers you the opportunity to pick from an approved list of species of trees approved by Parks & Recreation staff and have that tree placed within a park, greenway or other public space that is available. Also included is a 8”x4” marble plaque with two lines available for engraving on the plaque at the base of the tree. In addition, the name being honored will be read aloud at the Arbor Day celebration, which is normally in April each year. Cost is $350.00 per memorial and includes installation and guaranteed livability of the tree including replacement of the tree if necessary.

Note:

Special Request for other types of species will be considered, however the City has the final
approval.

Memorials ordered January 1st - March 1st will be placed during the spring planting season of March & April of the current year. Memorials ordered from March 2nd - October 1st will be placed in the fall planting season of October & November. Orders placed October 2nd - December 31st will be placed the following spring planting season.

The Department of Parks and Recreation will order the tree you have selected. Trees will not be planted from May-September or December-February to provide maximum potential survivability of the tree.

Every effort will be made to place the tree in the park of your choice. However, if conditions warrant, the Department of Parks and
Recreation reserves the right to place the tree in the park best suited for the tree.

Parks and Recreation will notify the donor when the tree and plaque are in place and where the tree is located. For additional
